Manuel Bruce

Justin Armstrong

There are three real good reasons as to why I downloaded Justin Armstrong’s iTunes single, “Friend of Mine” immediately after hearing the track (damn good reasons!):

John McLeod

It’s been more than 30 years since John McLeod began blending his own inimitable technique of country blues – a style influenced by his roots. McLeod is a Northern Canadian Metis Indian from the Ojibwa tribe; he recalls the music that’s been around him all his life: “My heritage really comes into play in some of the songs which are spiritual and using the drumming and fiddling I grew up with.”

Gayle Cloud

Kyle Hollingsworth

What’s not to like about Kyle Hollingsworth – the guy can make just about musical genre come alive, he’s been shaking down the music industry for decades, he has the same initials as our director of communications and best of all, he drops phrases like this one during interviews: “Love Baltimore!! Always get a great reception when I come to town.” Like I said – there’s pretty much nothing to dislike about this guy.

Monica Ott

Some Baltimore guys (such as myself), may hold something against Monica Ott. She left her hometown of Baltimore to pursue bigger and better things in the glitzy and glamorous town of New York City! However, it is there that she was able play her FIRST live NYC performance at CBGB’s… and it was New York where Monica became part of the prestigious NYC Songwriter’s Circle, going as far to beat out 1000’s of others to garner an honorable mention in last year’s songwriting contest.
